The following therapists offer therapy services in Middle Tennessee Schools.

Ashley Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Ashley graduated with her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2004 after completing her undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University.

Ashley began her career in the Dallas area and has worked as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, and Tennessee. She has provided therapy in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient rehabilitation hospitals, early intervention, public and private schools, and pediatric therapy clinics.

Ashley joined Helen Duhon and Associates in July 2013 and has provided therapy in Nashville charter schools and at the Franklin Speech and Learning Center. She enjoys working with young children and their families to provide personalized therapy to achieve their communication goals. Ashley has experience with a wide variety of communication disorders. Her specific interests are in articulation disorders, apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, and receptive and expressive language delays and disorders. Ashley's recent continuing education has included PROMPT training, identification and treatment of non-verbal learning disorders, reading instruction, complex feeding disorders, and yoga and pilates therapy for the child with special needs.

Ashley is licensed by the Tennessee Board of Communication Disorders and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
